Synergy Plus Recruitment is seeking experienced Team Managers to join the Family Support Team within Children’s Social Care. Lead a team of Senior Practitioners and Social Workers to achieve the best outcomes for children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safeguarding and promoting the well-being of children in need, in need of protection, and/or in care.
- Leading partnership working with key agencies for optimal outcomes.
- Effectively managing and supervising social workers and allocating casework.
- Ensuring compliance with legislation, standards, and performance targets.
- Efficiently managing team budgets to benefit children and families.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
- Minimum four years post-qualification experience with relevant awards.
- Advanced theoretical knowledge of childcare issues, legislation, and policies.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise and work effectively as part of a team.
